Yellow Fields Trio, led by the American bassist Jair-Rohm Parker Wells, performs the music of and inspired by Eberhard Weber. The band is saxophonist Stephen Gauci recognized as one of the most distinctive and enigmatic saxophonists on the New York City improvised music scene. He has released sixteen records as a leader and performed with notables such as: Nels Cline, Karl Berger, Daniel Carter and William Parker. Jair-Rohm Parker Wells, best known for his work with the New York improvising band Machine Gun as well as Bob Belden ́s last band ANIMATION and Abe Speller who has played and or recorded with Sonny Sharrock, Pat Benatar and Charles Earland, to name a few.
1- Take the Newark Path Train from Journal Square, New Jersey. (You can take the Journal Square via Hoboken train from Manhattan to get to Journal Square). Take Uber/Lyft from Newark Station (5-10 minutes drive).
2- Take the Morris & Essex line from Penn Station and get off either on Highland Avenue, Mountain, or South Orange station. ( It will take amost 30 minutes). Please check the train schedule.
